We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced web designer to join our team. As a web designer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining visually appealing, user-friendly websites that meet our clients’ needs and specifications. Your work will involve both designing the layout and appearance of websites as well as ensuring that they function correctly and are optimized for search engines.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to determine web sites and web applications design requirements and objectives.
- Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites, prototypes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ensure that websites are optimized for search engines and meet the latest web standards.
- Conduct user research and create user personas to inform the design process.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to illustrate design concepts and obtain client feedback.
- Work closely with developers to ensure that designs are properly implemented.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in web design and user experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in web design, graphic design, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 2 years as a web designer, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Exposure to Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with content management systems, such as WordPress or Drupal.
- Strong understanding of user experience design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and how they relate to web design.
