A Salesforce Architect is a professional responsible for designing and managing complex Salesforce solutions. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to understand their business requirements and provide expert advice on Salesforce solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement complex Salesforce solutions using a variety of tools and technologies.
- Lead and mentor technical teams in the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions.
- Collaborate with other architects and stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall IT architecture and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and provide ongoing support for Salesforce solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging Salesforce technologies and trends and provide guidance on how they can be used to improve existing solutions.
- Manage and maintain Salesforce integrations with other systems, including legacy systems and third-party applications.
- Ensure data security and privacy in Salesforce solutions and adhere to best practices and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture, including experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
- Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce platform and its various components (e.g., Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, APIs, integrations, etc.)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, and Salesforce Certified System Architect are preferred.
