We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cloud architect to join our team. As a cloud architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure that meets our clients’ needs and specifications. You will work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that cloud-based solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions that meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify and analyze cloud computing needs.
- Ensure that cloud-based solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
- Develop and maintain cloud migration strategies, including migration plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies, services, and platforms that align with client needs.
- Ensure that cloud-based infrastructure meets performance, availability, and disaster recovery requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams regarding cloud architecture best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 2 years as a cloud architect, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements related to cloud computing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Associate level AWS or Azure Certification.
